Car Seat Clinic To Help Canton Keep Kids Safe

The Canton PD will host the event next week at the local firehouse.

CANTON, CT — Local police on Monday, Sept. 22, are hosting a special car seat safety clinic at the town's firehouse to help folks make sure their children are safely buckled up.

The Canton Police Department will be at the Canton Volunteer Fire & EMS Station, 51 River Road, Canton, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. that day to help inspect seat installations.

There, officers will either inspect safety seats for proper installation or help residents properly install them. A child need not attend the event.
