'Christmas In Collinsville' Highlights Canton's Holiday Scene
The two-day event will take place Dec. 6-7 in Canton's historic Collinsville village area.

CANTON, CT — The town's biggest holiday celebration will take place Friday and Saturday in Canton's most historic part of town.
Canton Main Street's annual "Christmas in Collinsville" will take the merriment of an old-time holiday to guests with an array of events, performers, food, beverages, and Christmas decorations.
Several events are planned, including a Christmas tree lighting ceremony on Friday, Dec. 6, and fun holiday programs at the Canton Historical Museum on Saturday and Canton Town Hall on Saturday, Dec. 7.

Also part of the fun is the annual "Champagne Walk" on Friday, Dec. 6, where, for $30, folks can have commemorative champagne glasses.
Then, participating merchants will be serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic bubbly drinks and guests can celebrate the season that night from 6 to 8:30 p.m.

The complete celebration will take place right in the heart of downtown historic Collinsville, which is the town's cultural hub and the most picturesque part of Canton.
