The Canton Police Department is seeking sponsors for its annual Torch Run in June for the Connecticut Special Olympics.

CANTON, CT — The Canton Police Department, in partnership with Special Olympics Connecticut (SOCT), is seeking sponsors for its annual Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) in June.
As a result, the CPD is looking for folks/businesses to "Adopt-a-Mile."

Sponsorship will be recognized with a sign displayed along the torch run route.
Businesses, families, and individuals who wish to sponsor a mile can scan a QR code to access the “Adopt-a-Mile” sponsorship form.

Last year, the Canton community raised more than $25,000 through "Adopt-a-Mile" (over $30,000 overall), and as a special offer for 2025, SOCT is offering new participants two signs for the price of a single sign.
All proceeds go directly to Special Olympics Connecticut, helping to fund life-changing programs for athletes across the state.
Completed forms and check donations may be dropped off at the Canton Police Department.
