According to the choir's website:

"About 600 million orphans and vulnerable children exist in our world, facing hunger, disease, and hopelessness. Through child sponsorship, Matsiko Children International provides a complete education that can transform their lives, lift them out of poverty, and give them a better life. The Matsiko World Orphan Choir harnesses the innate talent of these children to bring joy to audiences in the USA, give visibility to their plight, and raise funds to help even more children achieve their dreams."

They will be performing two free concerts on Saturday, Aug. 23, at 7 p.m., and on Sunday, Aug. 24, at 2 PM at the First Congregational Church of Canton Center, 184 Cherry Brook Road, Canton Center.

But host families are needed to temporarily house the choir and the local community is soliciting help from residents.
