The Canton Town Clerk's office Tuesday unveiled the winner of its 'Top Dog' contest, which is part of the June dog licensing campaign.

CANTON, CT — The results are in, and Canton officially has a "top dog" for 2025.
The Canton Town Clerk's office on Tuesday, July 22, declared "Norman", an 8-year-old German Shepherd/Lab mix, as the top dog of 2025.

While Norman may be the top dog in Canton, he's just one of three in his household, which he shares with his "brothers," Stanley and Harold, according to the town clerk's office.
For his new title, Norman received a goody bag full of fun toys and treats.
No word on whether he plans to share them with his brothers.
