The dark-colored bovines were reported missing in Burlington and have been seen wandering around town.

BURLINGTON/CANTON, CT — A regional animal control unit is urging folks to be wary of a trio of cows on the loose in Burlington and, according to an update, the bovines are still on the "moooove."
The cows were first reported missing Monday and the Burlington & Canton Animal Control Department is on the case.
Monday, it posted an announcement urging area residents to be on the lookout in Burlington in the area of George Washington Turnpike, Angela's Way, Perry Drive and Taine Mountain.

"These three escape artists are on the loose," wrote the department, which covers animal control services in Burlington and Canton.
The department posted a photo showing the bovine trio in formation, walking end-to-end in Burlington.

"We are working directly with owners to safely contain and return all three to their home," wrote Burlington & Canton Animal Control.
The department posted an update later, using a little humor.
"UPDATE: These three are still on the MOOOOve. They were tracked today from Burlington to Farmington Taine Mountain areas and are currently back in the same area of Burlington near Perry Drive," wrote animal control.
Anyone who sees the these creatures should mooooove out of the way and call the animal control office at 860-960-6600 or the Burlington Police Department at 860-673-4856.
