Names Sought For Three Canton Athletics Sites

CANTON, CT — Three scholastic athletic facilities in town need new names and the Canton Board of Selectmen is looking for some help naming them.

That's why the board is asking the public to fill out an application to request names for three scholastic athletics sites.

Those locations, according to selectmen, are the Canton Middle/High School turf field, the Canton Middle/High School stadium, and the upper field at Canton Middle/High School.

All of those facilities are located at 76 Simonds Ave.

Applications are due to the Canton Board of Selectmen by 5 p.m. on Monday, June 30.

Once the applications are in, selectmen will discuss and come up with names for those locations at a later selectmen meeting.
