New Businesses Coming To The Shops At Farmington Valley: Report
The Canton shopping center is adding businesses that serve "more daily needs like health and wellness," officials told the Hartford Courant.

CANTON, CT — A sweat therapy salon, a dog grooming service and an indoor golf center are among the businesses coming to The Shops at Farmington Valley this year, The Hartford Courant reported.
Mercato Italian Kitchen and Bar, which already has a location in Southbury, will open in the plaza, the Courant reported, as will Woof Gang Dog Bakery & Grooming — a national chain that sells pet food and supplies in addition to offering grooming services.
Golf Lounge 18, where patrons can play more than 65 courses worldwide virtually, is coming to Canton as well, Hartford Business Journal reported.

The company currently has locations in Danbury, Fairfield, Orange and Westchester, New York, according to its website.
Lastly, sweat therapy company Driphouse is opening its first Connecticut location in Canton, the Courant said. The company advertises a therapeutic sweat therapy that can "safely warm the body's core temperature and encourage healthy, natural sweating," its website reads.

"We still have plenty of places to shop for apparel, but we're also mixing in more daily needs like health and wellness," General Manager Elizabeth Ackerman told the Courant.
