Odor Of Gas Reported At 50 Albany Turnpike

For the second time this week members of the town of Canton Volunteer Fire and EMS Department, the fire marshal and Connecticut Natural Gas responded to Canton Gateway Office Park, 50 Albany Turnpike (Route 44).

For approximately and hour Thursday morning, officials investigated reports of an odor of gas on the second floor of the building. Small amounts of CO were found at Bamboo Grill, officials said. 

Officials said they believe the problem was a clogged air intake in the building, which should be fixed later today. No gas leak was found.
