On Sunday, April 28, the original New York City production team of Embraceable Me will attend the Farmington Valley Stage Company’s production of the play.
The matinee performance at 2 p.m. will be followed by a question and answer session with the audience. This will be a rare opportunity for an audience to discuss the play in depth with the playwright, the director and the producer.
Among those attending will be the playwright, Victor L. Cahn, a professor at Skidmore College who besides being a Shakespearean scholar, author and teacher has written many other plays and novels.
Rachel Reiner who has produced a long list of successful productions at various New York City venues. She is the Managing Director of The Resonance Ensemble and recently served as Co-President of the League of Professional Theater Women.
Eric Parness, who directed Embraceable Me in New York as well as a long list of off-Broadway successes will also be part of the discussion.
Embraceable Me runs Friday, Saturday and Sunday from April 19 thru May 4.
Performances are held at Canton Town Hall, 4 Market St. in Collinsville. Tickets may be purchased at the door or online at FVStage.org. Friday and Saturday performances begin at 8 p.m. Sunday performances begin at 2 p.m.
