Prominent Canton Road To Be Closed For Tree Work
The roadway will be closed for much of the day on Thursday, Dec. 12.
CANTON, CT — A prominent roadway in town will be closed to traffic on Thursday for some much-needed tree work.
According to the Canton Public Works Department, Secret Lake Road (from Albany Turnpike to Elizabeth Road) closed Thursday, Dec. 12, for tree work.
It will be closed from approximately 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. and detours will be in place, officials said.

"Please use caution in this area. Emergency vehicles will be allowed to pass," wrote the town in an announcement Wednesday.
