Road Near Canton School To Be Temporarily Closed
It will be closed for two days after school starts.
CANTON, CT — A key road in town will be closed after school starts for two days this week due to road work.
The Canton Department of Public Works said this week that Barbourtown Road will be closed on Wednesday, Sept. 11, and Thursday, Sept. 12, to through traffic.
It will be closed just past the entrance to Cherry Brook School to West Road for road work, with detours expected.

"Please use caution when in the area," wrote Canton's DPW.
