Route 44 In Canton Topic Of State/Regional Study

State and local leaders have released an online survey for people to weigh in on issues they have with Route 44.

CANTON, CT — Local and state officials are asking folks to let them know about their opinions regarding a prominent section of roadway in town.

According to the Canton Police Department, the Capital Region Council of Governments, Town of Canton and the state Department of Transportation are conducting a "transportation corridor study" of the Route 44/Dowd Avenue area in Canton.

There is an online survey that is part of that study that people can take to weigh in.

"Please consider taking this brief survey to help the study team understand your thoughts on the study area's existing conditions and transportation improvement opportunities," wrote the CPD.

Input will be collected through Nov. 3.
