Show Your Vacation 'Spirit' At Canton Library During Special Contest

The Canton Public Library's 'Spirit Days' event this week wants folks to dress like they did on their summer vacation to win prizes.

CANTON, CT — The Canton Public Library is hosting a cute contest Thursday and Friday, Sept. 25-26, where folks can re-live their summer vacation.

Essentially, the library — located at 40 Dyer Ave. — wants folks to stop by anytime during the day, decked out like they're on vacation.

As an example, if one went to Disney World over the summer, perhaps mouse ears and a t-shirt from the parks are in order?

The library even suggested folks wear their Cape Cod sweatshirt, Union Jack hat, Hawaiian shirt, or that purse they got in Paris.

Those showing the most vacation "spirit" will have a chance to win "spirit" mugs and gift cards.
