Take A Hike In Canton This Weekend At Special Guided Tour

The Canton Land Trust is hosting a special hiking tour this weekend to showcase some of its trails.

CANTON, CT — A local land preservation organization is asking folks to take a break from the holiday hustle and bustle and, simply, take a hike.

The Canton Land Trust is hosting its rescheduled Black Friday Hike on Saturday, Dec. 13, at 10 a.m.

Land Trust Director Scott Persing will lead the hour-long, easy hike on the Tom Perry Trail and adjacent trails included including the Sun, Wind, and Woodland Trails.

Guests are asked to wear sturdy shoes, warm clothing, and bring hydration and friends.

Directions: Sun, Wind, and Woodland Trails. From Route 44, turn onto Indian Hill Road and follow to its end. Turn right onto Breezy Hill Road, and follow it about a half mile, just past Breezy Hill Farm. Park in the unpaved parking lot on the left – look for the land trust sign.
