Take Your Dog Swimming For Canton Dog Park

The Canton Recreation Department Aug. 28 is hosting its annual 'Pooch Plunge' at a local public swimming pool.

CANTON, CT — Summer is winding down and, with that, comes a chance for local dog lovers to bring their dogs over to a Canton swimming pool early next week and raise money for a canine-centric cause.

The Canton Parks and Recreation Department's "Pooch Plunge" will take place Monday, Aug. 28, at Mills Pond Pool, 14 East Hill Road, Canton.

There, folks are invited to pay a $10 donation (proceeds benefit the Canton Dog Park) and allow their furry friend to enjoy time cooling off in a public swimming pool.
