Town Of Canton: COVID Home Test Kits & Testing Centers

Over the weekend, the Town of Canton received 750 test kits from the State of Connecticut. The Town prioritized distribution of those kits to those with special needs, first responders and schools. We are making arrangements to distribute additional kits to day care center staff and possibly other essential workers. Once distributed, we will have approximately 200 hundred kits in reserve to distribute to the schools or other locations as necessary. This is not enough kits for a mass distribution. Once the Town receives significant number of additional test kits, we will schedule a public distribution - hopefully within the week.
