Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming Opens Canton Store

CANTON, CT — Pet retail store Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming has chosen Canton for its second Connecticut location, and the shop will celebrate with a grand opening from June 4-11.

The shop, which is described as a pet food, pet supplies and professional pet grooming retailer, will be located at 110 Albany Tpke. Ste. 610, Canton. Its opening festivities will take place starting June 4 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and will run through June 11.

Currently, the Orlando, Florida-based company has more than 200 locations open or under development in the United States, including one in West Hartford.

Renata Sepe of Avon, who owns the West Hartford store, said her store will be the first of its kind "on this side of the mountain."

"My main goal is to enhance the pet and pet lover customer experience by focusing on small details that make a big difference, like our salon-style, appointment-based grooming service that reduces waiting time and canine stress," Sepe said in a statement. "I want to make sure all our customers, two-legged and four-legged alike, enjoy the Woof Gang Bakery and Grooming neighborhood pet store experience."

During the grand opening, the first 20 customers will receive free gourmet dog treats for a year, and customers can enter to win prizes like three months of dog food.

Additionally, booked grooms will receive free teeth cleaning and blueberry facial upgrades, and dogs can sample the store's bakery treats for free.
