Chefmate Blender Recalled After Serious Injuries to Fingers and Hands

Target recalls more than 300,000 Chefmate 6-Speed blenders

Chefmate 6-Speed Blenders sold by Target stores are being recalled by the Consumer Product Safety Commission after customers reported the pitcher has separated from the blades while they're turning.

A number of customers reported serious cuts to their fingers and hands when the blade assembly separated. 

The blenders were sold from Sept. 2007 - Feb. 2011 for about $14 which were manufactured in China.

Consumers should immediately stop using the blenders and return them to any Target store to receive a full refund.
