Cheshire Store Has Liquor Permit Suspended By State
The business has paid a fine and its permit will be suspended for one day, according to state officials.
CHESHIRE, CT — A Cheshire liquor store will have its liquor permit suspended for one day next month, according to the state Department of Consumer Protection Liquor Control Commission.
Super Wines & Liquors, located at 435 West Main St., has paid a $1,500 fine and will have its liquor permit suspended on Jan. 5, according to state records.
The suspension “resolves issues concerning the following statutes or regulations,” according to the liquor control commission: conduct of permit premises – permittee strictly accountable, permittee responsible for actions of employee or agent, and sale/delivery to minor.
