Cheshire Writer's Story for Reader's Digest
Vote for a local writer's life story and help her get published in Reader's Digest

Life's memories may be endless, but Barbara Gode Wiles of Cheshire can sum hers up in a 150 words.
Wiles's short story "Microwave Toast" is under consideration for publication through a Reader's Digest project called “Your Life...The Reader’s Digest Version.”
Wiles writes about how a fire started in her microwave and the poignant reason the oven was set to cook for a full five minutes.

Residents may vote for Wiles' story on Facebook to help her gain recognition with the editors of Reader's Digest which has 30 million readers worldwide.
The author of the winning story chosen for publication by the Reader's Digest editors will recieve a cash reward, as will several other authors chosen for second and third prizes.
