Cheshire, CT - Thanks to a deal between the town and the Housing Authority, another affordable housing unit will be coming to Cheshire.

The town sold a farm house at 866 Boulder Avenue for $1 to the Cheshire Housing Authority, according to The Republican-American.

The single-family home will be converted into an affordable housing unit, The Republican-American reports.

According to the report, the home is currently occupied by a retired police officer, who rents the home from the town.
