Hit-And-Run Driver Sought In Cheshire: Police

Police are asking for help with identifying a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run accident in Cheshire.

CHESHIRE, CT — Police are asking for help with identifying a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run accident Monday in Cheshire.

Police said that around 4:40 p.m. on Jan. 22 an unknown make and model vehicle collided with a blue Suzuki SX4 southbound on Highland Avenue between Creamery Road and Jarvis Street.

“The collision caused the front bumper of the evading vehicle to dislodge and lay in the roadway,” police wrote in a post on Facebook. “The evading vehicle's operator picked up the bumper, reversed in the roadway, turned around, and traveled northbound on Highland Avenue.”
