Jackknifed Tractor-Trailer Slows Traffic On I-691 In Cheshire

(Original post) CHESHIRE, CT — Police are advising motorists to seek alternate routes on I-691 West near Exit 8B in Cheshire due to a jackknifed tractor trailer.

“A jackknifed tractor trailer is blocking the I-691 flyover ramp to I-84 west in Cheshire,” Connecticut State Police wrote in a post on Twitter. “While the ramp is open, it is significantly backed up, so motorists are asked to seek alternate routes as emergency crews work to clear the area.”
