No Subdivision Coming To Cheshire After Developer Pulls Application: Report

Cheshire, CT - A controversial proposal to bring a subdivision to Cheshire is no longer on the table.
According to a report in The New Haven Register, Developer Phil Bowman, who had planned to build the 21-unit subdivision, withdrew the application this week.
The Clearview Farm Preserve would have been located at Cornwall Avenue and Mountain Road, The Register reports.

Project representative Anthony Fazzone told the paper that they pulled the plans due to the recent DEEP discovery of an old, illegal dump next to the land that the houses would have been built on.
It's unclear if a second version of the project plans will be submitted for review by the town, The Register reports.
