Obituary: Maryann F. Schwab, 82, of Cheshire

CHESHIRE, CT - (From Alderson-Ford Funeral Home) Maryann F. Schwab, 82, passed away comfortably on March 2, 2021, at the Summit at Plantsville.

She was the wife of Alan W. Schwab.

Mrs. Schwab was born May 20, 1938, in Waterbury, daughter of the late Andrew James and Loretta Anne (Moriarty) Daly.

Maryann was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School in Waterbury and the Hospital of St. Raphael School of Nursing in New Haven.

She practiced as Registered Nurse until her retirement.

She was an avid reader and enjoyed crocheting and gardening, but the beach was her favorite.

Besides her husband of 47 years, Maryann is survived by her three daughters, Lori Hanlon of Cheshire, Sandra Ann Hanlon of Maine, and Terry Lynn Hanlon of Meriden; her grandchildren, Amber Madore (Shawn), Amanda Howard (Casey), Ryan Erickson, Christopher Frederico and Katerina and Brandon Bratke.

She also leaves behind six step-children, Kelly, David, Vicky, Kevin, Tommy and Danny, as well as her niece and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister Kathleen (Kakie) Rosa, her brother, Andrew J. Daly, and her son, Edward J. Hanlon Jr.

Arrangements - Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family and there are no calling hours.

The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire is assisting with arrangements.
