Road Closure Announced For Construction In Cheshire
Police are advising motorists of a road closure that will be in effect in Cheshire.
CHESHIRE, CT — Police are advising motorists that part of Route 42 in Cheshire will be closed on Wednesday, July 16 due to construction.
The section of Route 42 in front of Norton School will be closed, according to police.
“There will be a detour around that section of 42,” police wrote in a post on Facebook. “You can travel from Ott Drive to Sharon Dr to Farmington Drive or from Farmington Drive to Sharon Dr to Ott Dr and it will get you back to Route 42.”

Police said there are also signs in areas where there will be no parking on the roadways.
