Shake Shack Opening New Location In Cheshire: Report

The popular burger and shake restaurant chain is opening a new location in Cheshire, according to a report.

CHESHIRE, CT — A new Shake Shack is among the latest businesses to be joining The Shops at Stonebridge development in Cheshire, according to The Connecticut Scoop.

The Connecticut Scoop reports the popular burger and shake restaurant chain has signed a lease with the development, along with a Chase Bank.

There are currently eight Shake Shack locations in Connecticut, including restaurants in Danbury, Darien, New Haven, Newington, South Windsor, Stamford, West Hartford, and Westport.

The Shops at Stonebridge will be anchored by a Whole Foods Market grocery store and joined by TJ Maxx, and several other retailers, including Barnes & Noble, Saybrook Home, Choice Pet, Chipotle, Birdcode, and others.

“The Shops at Stone Bridge will be a 155,000-square-foot retail and lifestyle destination anchored by Whole Foods, ideally situated within the vibrant community of Cheshire,” according to the development listing at the Regency Centers website. “Strategically positioned at the junction of I-691 and Route 10, near I-84, the center will boast two signalized entrances for convenient access. Route 10 serves as the primary North and South commercial corridor. Cheshire is a thriving suburb of Hartford and New Haven. Embedded within the Stone Bridge Crossing master-planned community, the center will be seamlessly integrated. This expansive 107-acre development will include 140 residential units along with plans for a 300-unit multi-family complex and a proposed hotel.”
