Guilford Church Hosts Nostalgic Drive-In Movie Night

Proceeds from the screening of "The Force Awakens" will be donated to the Guilford Social Services' Back to School Program.

The St. George Men’s Group is back to present another Nostalgic Drive-In Movie Night event. This year’s movie on the large outdoor drive in screen will be Star Wars, Episode VII, “The Force Awakens”. We will also feature Connecticut’s own “501st Garrison” squadron for photo-ops and for interaction with our audience. Bring your cameras and look forward to some fun. There will be an old time concession stand with hot dogs, hamburgers, snacks and beverages. You can enjoy the feature by being seated in front of the screen, bring your blankets or lawn chairs, or by viewing the film from your own car. Proceeds from this event will go to the Guilford Social Services, “Back to School Program”. Bring a new backpack and you will receive a free hot dog and drink. The event will take place on Saturday, July 23 with a rain date of Saturday, July 30. The price is $20.00 per car or $8.00 for walk-ins. The gate and concession stand open at 6:30PM and the movie begins at 8:30PM. The location will be the St. George Church parking lot at 33 Whitfield St. on the Green in Guilford, Ct.

Tickets on sale behind the church every Sunday morning from 8:45 AM to 12:30 PM or call Tony Sicignano at 203-530-1654, email at a0712@sbcglobal.net or Bob Mongillo at 203-314-5478, email at RobKM75@live.com.
