Thieves Break Into Clinton Dunkin' Donuts Using Baker's Key: Police

The Clinton CT Police Department is investigating a commercial burglary at the Dunkin’ Donuts on Route 81. At about 10:45 p.m. Monday, Jan. 18, two suspects entered the back door using a key.

“The key was new and had been left for the baker as the locks had been changed earlier in the day by Amity Safe and Lock out New Haven,” police said. “The ATM was forced open and the suspects fled within six minutes.”

Video surveillance showed two suspcts wearing hoods, gloves and carrying tools with them, including a sledge hammer and a long crow bar, according to police.
