Thieves Break Into Clinton Dunkin' Donuts Using Baker's Key: Police
The locks had just been changed that same day, police said.
The Clinton CT Police Department is investigating a commercial burglary at the Dunkinβ Donuts on Route 81. At about 10:45 p.m. Monday, Jan. 18, two suspects entered the back door using a key.
βThe key was new and had been left for the baker as the locks had been changed earlier in the day by Amity Safe and Lock out New Haven,β police said. βThe ATM was forced open and the suspects fled within six minutes.β
Video surveillance showed two suspcts wearing hoods, gloves and carrying tools with them, including a sledge hammer and a long crow bar, according to police.
