3 Arrested in Connection with Alleged Fraudulent Driveway Paving Company: Police

Danbury police said the trio's company resulted in the loss of $5,875 to a 71-year-old Danbury resident in 2011.

Danbury, CT — Danbury police announced Monday that three people have been arrested for the alleged fraud of consumers by illegally operating a driveway paving company.

On June 27, 2016 Rodney T. Cooper of Latham, NY, turned himself in the Danbury Police Department on a warrant, police said. He was processed on the charges of second degree larceny and conspiracy to commit second degree larceny, according to a police report.

Rodney Cooper and Jamie Young of Montgomery, NY and Dean Cooper of Winchester, KY, are accused of operating as "Affordable Paving" of Middletown NY which resulted in the loss of $5,875 to a 71-year-old Danbury resident in 2011, police said.

Rodney Cooper was released on a $10,000 court set bond. The investigation is continuing.
