30-Year-Old Arrested for Sex Assault of 14-Old-Girl He Impregnated: Report
A 30-year-old pizza delivery driver is accused of sexual assault of a 14-year-old Danbury girl who he met while delivering pizza.
DANBURY, CT — A 30-year-old pizza delivery was arrested after an investigation revealed that he impregnated a 14-year-old Danbury teen he met while delivering pizza, The News Times reports. Court records revealed that he pursued her on the mobile app called "WhatsApp" and that the girl is now three months pregnant.
Felimon Cruz, 30, of Bethel, told police he thought the girl was 18 and in college, the paper reported. Cruz was charged with second degree assault and risk of injury to a minor and his bond was set at $75,000. Court records show that Cruz has plead not guilty to both charges and remains incarcerated.
His pre-trial court date is set for Sept. 12, 2015.
