6'2", 300 Pound Man Flips Out, Throws Tables and Chairs Near Elderly Patrons at Danbury Library: Police
Jeremy Small, 32, of Danbury, was throwing chairs and he flipped a table before officers arrived on scene at the Danbury Public Library.

DANBURY, CT — Danbury Police responded to a call on Tuesday at approximately 12p.m., at Danbury Public Library, for reports of a disturbance.
When officers arrived on scene, police said that the suspect, Jeremy Small, 32, of Danbury, was throwing chairs and he flipped a table. Police said Small, who is 6' 2" and weighs approximately 300 pounds, was also "actively throwing books and chairs upon officers arrival." Police said the disturbance occurred near several elderly patrons.
Officers said Small was "yelling, screaming, with a blank look and was unresponsive to officers commands."

Small pushed over a bookcase and threw books at police officers, according to a police report. He "actively resisted two separate Taser deployments," police said, and was taken into custody.
Small was charged with first degree criminal mischief, second degree reckless endangerment, breach of peace and interfering with police officers. He was released on a written promise to appear and given a court date of June 16, 2016.

Police said Small was transported to Danbury Hospital for evaluation.
