Billy Michael to Present Special Sept. 11 Show at Richter House in Danbury
Organizers say the program will have broad appeal while commemorating the solemn 9/11 anniversary.
DANBURY, CT — Bethel entertainer Billy Michael will present a special program that organizers say will have broad appeal while commemorating the solemn anniversary of the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11th. The concert will be presented at Richter House, 100 Aunt Hack Rd., Danbury on Sunday, Sept. 11, at 3 p.m. Michael will be joined by singer Annie Kelly, known for her smooth vocals. The hour long event will include songs and stories followed by refreshments.
Co-founder of the J&B Band , Billy Michael has been marching to the beat of popular music from a very early age. When he was just five years-old, he could be heard belting out Ray Charles’ hit “You Don’t Know Me,” which his mother, Dolores, had taught him. In the first grade he was known as “Little Elvis.”
Admission to the event will be by free will donation. Parking is in the golf course parking lot with handicap parking located in front of the house. For further information, call 203-744-2168 or visit the website www.danbury.org/richter
