Brad E. Batura, 61, of Danbury, Died Unexpectedly

Danbury, CT — Brad E. Batura, age 61, of Danbury, CT died unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, June 22, 2016.

He was born in Danbury, CT, March 24, 1955 son of Edmond R. Batura of Danbury and the late Joan Morse Batura. He was a graduate of Danbury High School and Boston University.

He lived in Boston for a number of years, where he worked in the computer industry. He was an avid skier, accomplished saltwater fisherman and boater.In addition to his father, he is survived by his brother: Bruce Batura and his wife Lisa Turk of Pompano Beach, FL.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Regional Hospice and Home Care of Western Connecticut, 30 Milestone Rd., Danbury, CT 06810.

The funeral will be held at the Hull Funeral Home, 60 Division St., Danbury, Monday at 7:00 PM, with the Rev. Pat Kriss of the First Congregational Church, Danbury officiating. The family will receive friends at the Hull Funeral Home, preceding the service from 5:30 to 7:00 PM. Interment will be private.
