Police say Christopher Waddell, 18, of Brookfield and Nicholas Valluzzo, 19, of Danbury, were arrested on suspicion of marijuana sales.

Two men arrested in Brookfield will face charges for evidence police say allegedly indicates marijuana sales.

Christopher Waddell, 18, of Brookfield and Nicholas Valluzzo, 19, of Danbury, were charged with possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute and possession of a controlled substance of a non narcotic greater than 1/2 ounce, according to police.

Officers were called around 10 a.m. Monday on Ashwood Lane about a suspicious vehicle, according to a police news release, and upon arrival noticed an “overwhelming odor of marijuana” coming from the vehicle, police said.
