3,000 Without Power In Danbury On Tuesday Morning

DANBURY, CT — Approximately 3,000 Eversource customers in Danbury are without power as of shortly after 10 a.m. Tuesday.

"We are in direct contact with Eversource, who have identified an issue at the Middle River Substation and are actively working to restore service," Danbury Mayor Roberto Alves posted to Facebook.

The current estimated time for power restoration is 12:45 p.m., Alves said.
