Catherine Hallabeck, 62, of Danbury, Passed Away
She was a graduate of Danbury High School and Western Connecticut State University.

Danbury, CT — Catherine Hallabeck, 62, of Danbury, cherished wife of Edward F. Hallabeck, Jr., died peacefully at home with her husband by her side, on Monday, June 20th. She was born in Danbury on November 1, 1953, daughter of the late Charles R. and Dorothy (Weindorf) Ward.
She was a graduate of Danbury High School and Western Connecticut State University. Cathy was a devoted educator who worked as a paraprofessional for the Danbury Public School System. She and Ed enjoyed being members of the Sports Car Club of America where they were volunteer race workers.
A loving wife, mother and grandmother, she enjoyed taking care of her family, friends and neighbors. In addition to her husband of 39 years, Ed, she will be sadly missed by her two daughters, Wendy Garland and her husband, John of Norfolk, MA, and Nancy Day and her husband, Walter of New Fairfield; her five grandchildren, Nora and Nathan Garland, Jenna, Amber and Matthew Day. She is also survived by her brother, Mark Ward and his wife, Marilyn of Hamden.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on June 24 at St. Joseph Church, Danbury. Burial followed in St. Peter Cemetery.
