Danbury Animal Shelter Sending Dogs To Puppy Bowl
This is the second year that DAWS will be represented in the Animal Planet network's annual canine competition.

DANBURY, CT — The Danbury Animal Welfare Society has announced it will once again be fielding a team for the Puppy Bowl.
The canine competition is an annual tradition on the Animal Planet television network, airing on Super Bowl Sunday.
This will be DAWS pups' sophomore effort on the show, but this year the shelter will also be sending representatives to the Dog Bowl, a competition for older pets that airs the night before the Big Game.

Starla, in the center above, is in the Puppy Bowl starting lineup, backed up by Lindy and Floofer in the top row. Snow and Spunky, in the bottom row, will be representing DAWS in the Dog Bowl.
The Dog Bowl airs Feb. 1 at 8 p.m., and the Puppy Bowl at 3 p.m. on Feb. 2, both on Animal Planet.
