
DANBURY, CT — Furthering the notion of Danbury being among the safest cities in Connecticut, major crime is down 14 percent over the first five months of the year, reports the News Times. Crime decreased 26 percent compared to May of 2016.
There were 425 total major crimes during the first five months of 2017, compared to 493 major crimes in the same period in 2016.
