Danbury Fire Union Holding Annual Food Drive
They will also be holding a Stuff-A-Fire Truck event on Sunday, Dec. 17.
DANBURY, CT — The City of Danbury Professional Fire Fighters, Local 801, IAFF is again collecting canned and non-perishable foods for the annual food drive to benefit The Salvation Army's holiday basket program and food pantry, the fire union said in a Facebook post.
Donations may be dropped off at the following DFD career stations:
Fire Headquarters - 19 New St.
Engine 23 - 208 Osborne St.
Engine 24 - 36 Eagle Rd. (Commerce Park)
Engine 25 - 171 South King St.
Engine 26 - 75 Kenosia Ave Ext.
Fire Marshal's Office - 1st floor, City Hall
Donations will be accepted from Nov. 20 to Dec. 22, 2023.
* In addition to the drop off locations, they will be holding a Stuff-A-Fire Truck event on Sunday Dec. 17th from 10am-1pm at Stop & Shop at 44 Lake Ave.
