Danbury Man Had 48 Folds of Heroin in His Car: Police
Police say the man was also found with marijuana.

DANBURY, CT — A city man was arrested last week on drug charges after he was found with 48 folds of heroin in his car, according to police. Alan Nye, 32, of Danbury was arrested in the early hours of July 7 after he was stopped by police on North Street for driving without an illuminated marker plate.
Police say they immediately smelled marijuana coming from Nye's car, and saw a shortened straw containing a white powdery substance in plain view of the ashtray. Searching officers also found marijuana in Nye's car.
He was charged with failure to illuminate a rear marker, possession of marijuana near a school, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of drug paraphernalia near a school, possession of less than one-half ounce of marijuana and possession of narcotics.

He was held on a $500 bond, police said.
