Danbury Police Looking For Driver Of Jeep Which Collided With Moped
The operator of the moped was taken to the Danbury Hospital Emergency Room to be treated for serious, non-life threatening, injuries.
DANBURY, CT — Police are seeking the public's assistance in their investigation of a motor vehicle accident that sent a moped rider to the hospital.
The Danbury Police Department was notified of a collision between a Jeep and the moped at approximately 6:46 p.m. on Nov. 2, and dispatched officers to the area of 36 Padanaram Road.
The operator of the moped was taken to the Danbury Hospital Emergency Room to be treated for serious, non-life threatening, injuries. Padanaram Road was closed in both directions for several hours while the DPD's Accident Investigation Team began their investigation.

The police are looking to speak with the driver of the dark-colored 2-door Jeep Wrangler, pictured above, or anyone that witnessed the accident. Anyone with information is urged to contact Officer Leggiadro at 203-917-2156.
