Danbury Residents Invited to Participate in Citizen's Government Academy
Learn the ins and outs of Danbury government with visits to the Police Station, the Fire Department and the Department of Public Works.

DANBURY, CT — Danbury residents are invited to participate in Mayor Boughton’s Citizens Government Academy. Applications accepted until September 1, 2016 for the 7-week course that gives residents the chance to learn the inside workings of various city departments.
Sessions will be held on Wednesdays from September 7 through October 19 from 6-8 p.m. The first session will be held at City Hall in the Council Chambers on the third floor. Scheduled trips include visits to the Police Station, the Fire Department and the Department of Public Works.
Applications are available at City Hall in the Mayor’s Office or on the city website and can be delivered in person, faxed to the Mayor’s Office at 203-796-1666 or emailed to Austin Samuelson at a.samuelson@danbury-ct.gov.
