Danbury will host its annual Clean City Day with free bulk item drop-off for residents at five locations across the city. Here's where:

DANBURY, CT — Danbury’s annual Clean City Danbury Day will take place Saturday, May 17, from 8 a.m. to noon, offering residents the opportunity to dispose of unwanted household items at no cost.

The event is being held in partnership with Interstate Waste Services, formerly Oak Ridge Waste Systems, whose donation helps fund the initiative. According to Mayor Roberto L. Alves, the citywide event provides an important service to the community.

"We’re proud to host another Clean City Danbury Day for our residents," Alves said. "Assisting our residents with disposing of their unwanted items for free is an opportunity for us to give back to the people who make Danbury the vibrant and thriving community it is."
