Danbury Woman Left Child Unattended in Car, Police Say: Report
Police say someone noticed the child unattended and called the authorities.

DANBURY, CT — A local woman was issued a misdemeanor summons for leaving her three-year-old son unattended in a car, reports the News Times. Kristine Rakowsky, 39, allegedly left her son in the car for at least 11 minutes, according to police.
According to the report, someone noticed the child by himself in Rakowsky's vehicle. The vehicle was running with the windows down, far enough down for a firefighter to take the child out of the vehicle, according to the news times.
She was arrested on scene, but released on a promise to appear in court.
