Danbury police charged one man with DUI after a one-car accident on Taylor Street, and a second person with DUI after a two-car accident on Nabby Road.

Danbury Police responded to a one-car motor vehicle accident when a vehicle drove into the fence of Boston Garage on Taylor Street. The operator, identified as Simao Ferraz, 20, of Patch Street, was charged at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday with driving under the influence, failure to drive right, and operating under suspension. He failed a field sobriety test, and was released on a $1,000 bond.
Danbury Police responded at 7:22 p.m. Wednesday to a two-car motor vehicle accident on Nabby Road. One of the vehicles, a red Toyota Camry, left the scene and was located later on White Street. The operator, Natt McIntire Jr, 46, Hayestown Heights, Danbury, was charged with evading responsibility, driving under the influence and failure to grant the right of way. He was released on a $2,500 bond.
