'Embrace The Joy & Wonder': Danbury 'Light The Lights Festival' Dec. 7
Expect Santa, music, live entertainment, a holiday market and a fire truck parade, along with free cookies and hot chocolate.
DANBURY, CT — The city's 3rd Annual "Light the Lights Festival" is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 7, from 3 to 7 p.m.
Organizers CityCenter Danbury and the City of Danbury are promising "a Winter Wonderland, with fun festivities for all ages" on the Green at 1 Ives Street Downtown.
The ceremonial lighting of the 40-foot tree by Mayor Roberto Alves will be followed by the arrival of Santa Claus, making a grand entrance aboard a firetruck. There'll be music, live entertainment, a holiday market and a fire truck parade, along with free cookies and hot chocolate.
