Longtime Danbury Resident Dorothy M. Brown, 102, Passed Away

Bethel, CT — Dorothy M. Brown, age 102 went home to the Lord on June 16, 2016 she was a long time Bethel resident and the widow of Alfred C. Brown.

Dorothy was born in Danbury, CT August 26, 1913. Dorothy was the daughter of Vincent and Mary (Marasco) Strumolo. She attended Danbury schools and was a graduate of Danbury High School class of 1931. She worked many years for the W.T. Grant Co. prior to her retirement.

Dorothy is survived by her daughter Barbara Mirabito and her husband Fred, her two nieces Robin and Heather and several cousins; she was predeceased by her sister Emily Maynard and brother Ronald Strumolo.

A private burial took place at St. Peters Cemetery of Danbury, CT.
