Man Charged In Woman's Overdose Death: Danbury Police

The accused "provided the fentanyl to the victim and then delayed medical attention to the victim which caused her death," police said.

DANBURY, CT — A Danbury man, Felix Pabon, 56, of Farview Avenue was charged last week on a warrant with second-degree manslaughter and was initially given a $200,000 bond, police said.

At 11:06 a.m. on June 28, police responded to a Farview Avenue residence for a report of an unresponsive female, police said. Upon arrival, EMS transported the female to Danbury Hospital for treatment and she later died, police said.

Police said it was determined that the female died of a fentanyl overdose. A suspect was developed and identified as Pabon, police said.

"Evidence showed that he provided the fentanyl to the victim and then delayed medical attention to the victim which caused her death," police said.

An arrest warrant was submitted and issued by Danbury Superior Court and he was charged on Nov. 14, police said.
